“Three courses through the city”, twice a year students in Erlangen are sent through a culinary journey of discovery in teams of two!
Dear Laufgelage participants,
due to the current Corona situation and the new measures we have decided to cancel the Laufgelage 16 on 25.11.2021. This includes the cooking event and the afterparty. We will refund the participant fee fully in the coming weeks.
We deeply regret that the event cannot take place. Especially since we have invested a lot of time and resources in the last months. We have already weighed up on a daily basis over the last few weeks whether holding the event is still appropriate to the situation. Therefore, we see the measures decided by the government as reasonable.
We want to contribute so that we can soon return to normality and hopefully offer a running binge next semester.
We ask for your understanding
Your Laufgelage Team
PS: The photo competition Goldener Kochlöffel will still take place. You are welcome to submit entries here from 11/25/2021 to 11/28/2021 to win great prizes. Info on Instagram.
Due to the Corona pandemic, special rules are also applied to the running event. Participation in the event is only possible with a 2G certificate. A vaccination or recovery certificate must be uploaded during registration. More information can be found below:
If any of the following apply, you may not attend the event:
In addition, valid proof of vaccination or recovery must be presented to participate. The proof must meet the legal requirements on the day of the event.
We adhere to the rules of our partner, E-Werk, in regard to 2G, which only allows participation of vaccinated and recovered persons. Proof of vaccination can be shown through presenting the vaccination card or vaccination documentation in conjunction with a valid identity card or passport. Those who have recovered from COVID-19 may verify by presenting appropriate official proof or their then-positive PCR lab test result in conjunction with an ID card. According to the Corona regulation, people are considered recovered if they have survived the infection and can prove this with a positive PCR laboratory test that is at least 28 days and no more than six months old. In the exceptional cases mentioned above, we accept PCR tests, and the evidence of a negative test must be no more than 48 hours old.
You will cook either a starter, main dish, or dessert in a team of two. You will be serving two other cooking teams and six of you will enjoy the course you have cooked. You will get to know four cooks. More answers can be found under FAQ.
You and your partner will be able to enjoy the other two courses, prepared by different teams. You and your partner will will travel to other houses for each course. Throughout the three courses you will meet up to 12 new people.
